We're eager to Welcome you to our Virtual Team

GSECDC - Garden State Episcopal Community Development Corp., (which used to be called Jersey City Episcopal Community Development Corp.) is a multi-service organization serving very-low- and low-income, homeless, hungry, needy and/or special needs individuals and families, as well as aspiring first-time home-buyers.

Our primary focus is to provide extensive supportive services for the Homeless, threough Intensive, individualized Case Management and Drop-In Centers. We also provide affordable housing paired with supportive services for Special Needs individuals and families, a Emergency Food Pantry and opportunities for Middle-Income First-Time Home-Buyers.

Our Front-Desk Reception Volunteers are the voices and "faces" of this agency - the first person someone meets when they enter the door, the first voice they hear when they call up -- an "Ambassador" from GSECDC out to the world. We need help weekdays, daytimes, between 9am-4pm -- Mornings, Afternoons or All Day, one day a week or more, or a few times a month. We try to be as flexible as possible

Answering the phone, greeting our needy Consumers and other visitors, responding to phone & visitor inquiries regarding our programs and services -- that and more -- make the time fly by! We provide you with lots of information & there are always staff nearby to answer questions!

If you choose to also help get involved with our constant need for donations of Essential supplies to assist the Homeless, that's great, too - but your choice. We serve more and more very-low folks and families, so we need more and more help to do it all!

We'd love to welcome you into our front-desk reception team!
