Assist brain injury survivors in growing independent living skills

ORGANIZATION: PROVAIL

  • 8 people are interested

We need volunteers to work side-by-side with Seattle Brainworks members, assisting them and often fading into the background while members regain skills. This would be a good way to have meaningful interaction with some great folks, and gain great experience in this field. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm.

Mission Statement

Supporting People with Disabilities to Fulfill Their Life Choices.

Description

At PROVAIL, we see a world where all people live life based on their own choices and we work toward a community that maximizes accessibility and inclusion of all. We are dedicated to the three focus areas; Mobility & Communication, Employment, and Home & Lifestyle. Through these areas, PROVAIL supports people with disabilities to access the tools and technology they need to communicate and interact with their community, obtain community-based paid employment, and gain access to the home and lifestyle options of their choice.

Our programs meet critical needs and address gaps in services for the disability community. We provide services for children, youth, and adults with a broad-range of disabilities - including those with complex support needs, for whom service options and resources are often limited.
