We need sewing volunteers to make loving gifts of remembrance - using a favorite piece of clothing or other special piece of febric from hospice patients - to make remembrabce teddy bears. The teddy bears provide comfort and lasting memories for family members.
If you would like to be part of this powerful gift of love - we need you! You can do this from home. If you would like to also be involved in delivering them to our families, that would be great, but it's not required.
Please contact us for more information about joining our Memory Bear Sewing Team!

Mission Statement
Serving People With Compassion and Dignity
Description
COMPASSIONATE ABOUT CARE. passionate about life.
At Good Shepherd Hospice, we believe that health care is more than just a diagnosis and a treatment. It's a daily exercise in making this moment...this today...the very best it can be. We're here to help our patients achieve that goal - physically, mentally, spiritually...and for whatever that means individually.
We believe that in the passing of a person’s life, there are also extraordinary opportunities for compassion, reconciliation, spiritual healing, and renewal.
Our Volunteers play a vital role in our Hospice program. From working in the office, to creating special projects at home, to visiting to provide companionship and ease lonliness, Good Shepherd Hospice Volunteers make special moments happen again and again for the patients and families we serve.
Our History - 22 Years of Comforting and Serving
Good Shepherd Hospice opened its first office in Oklahoma City in 1995. We now have a regional presence serving Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Texas. Along the way, we’ve touched the lives of more than 20,000 patients and shepherded 50, 000+ family members through their time of need. Every member of our team receives comprehensive, ongoing training. We are a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Association, Medicare Certified and State Licensed.
