This position is a "fill in" opportunity when our full time cook is ill or on vacation or absent for various reasons. We are in need of 2 potential cooks one for each of our 2 locations. The volunteer will need to commit to serving a full lunch and dinner to 10-20 of our shared living residents, this also includes clean up. For extended fill in assignments refrigerators and ovens will be cleaned and both refrigerated and dry counter-top goods restocked as needed. This position requires providing quality meals as well as engaging in meaningful interaction with our residents and sharing in the meal when possible. The time commitment is seven hours a day on an as needed basis. Notification of need will be by 9:30 am of that day for a 10 or 11 start time.
