We need dedicated board members who are willing to volunteer 2-3 hours a month to help our nonprofit continue to move our mission statement forward. We want to help protect children from sexual abuse and molestation through education using our program Educate to Protect. We will match skill sets to tasks needing completion. All volunteers really make a positive difference in children's lives.

Mission Statement

The mission of ReInventing the Cycle, a 501 (c)(3) tax deductible nonprofit organization, is to provide educational programs that will empower people to break dysfunctional life cycles and then reinvent positive, healthy ones. Our program titled Project S.T.O.P (Stop The Oppressive Predator) is in over 100 school districts and teaches children skills to keep safe. This program aims to stop child molestation and sexual abuse by heightening awareness in children that people they know, not just strangers, could cause them harm, along with how to prevent and/or stop victimization from occurring.

Description

The program, Project S.T.O.P, empowers children by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent or stop child molestation from occurring. Acquisition of skills is promoted through an interactive book and video, facilitated discussions, structured activities, role-playing scenarios with a doll and journaling.

Project S.T.O.P. is endorsed by highly credited professionals in child psychology, pediatrics, guidance counseling, teaching, and law enforcement.
