CASA Volunteers speak up for abused and neglected children involved in dependency cases in juvenile court. These children are in DFCS custody or relative care due to abuse and neglect suffered at the hands of their parents. We work with children between the ages of birth - 18. Over 50% of the 478 children we are currently involved with are under the age of 8. Our numbers continue to increase. We have a dire need for volunteers. Call or visit our website to sign up for our next training session. No experience is required. Must be 21 or older, have a valid driver's license, and pass criminal background checks before undergoing training. We will teach you everything there is to know about advocating for these innocent victims!
