Provide emotional support to grieving adults in Elgin and surrounding communities. The volunteer serves as a willing and sensitive listener, and assists in the process of identifying the individual's coping skills in individual and group settings.

Description
Supportive care includes: Patient Care Support, Equipment & Supplies, Trained volunteers (providing support, guidance and respite), Educational Resources available on issues of serious illness, dying, grief, Community Referral, Care Coordination, Bereavement One-on-one and Support Groups. All services and supplies available free of charge.
