The Arab American National Museum is looking for volunteers who have a knack for arts and crafts to help our staff come up with creative craft ideas, set up the crafts, help participants with/create the crafts, and clean up afterwards. We host 3 family parties throughout the year - Eid Al Adha, Halloween, and Christmas. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in planning and implementing crafts for our family parties. This is an involved role where volunteers will assist from beginning to end in terms of planning/researching crafts, assisting with set-up, designing crafts, etc.

Description
The Arab American National Museum is the first museum in the world devoted to Arab American history and culture. By bringing the voices and faces of Arab Americans to mainstream audiences, we continue our commitment to dispel misconceptions about Arab Americans and other minorities. The Museum brings to light the shared experiences of immigrants and ethnic groups, paying tribute to the diversity of our nation.
The Arab American National Museum is a proud Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. and the only Smithsonian Affiliate in southeastern Michigan to date.
