During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Join our team of volunteers feeding outdoor community cat colonies in parking lots, backyards, bushes. Approx. 2 hours per week. Help these cats have better lives. They will greet you and thank you for their dinners. Work with good people making a difference in the world. We get these cats spayed/neutered, so you can help with that too. We provide training and support but you should be able to buy your own cat food. Must be comfortable driving at night if required, and have a valid Calif. driving license. Not suitable for anyone under 20. You should be reliable, willing to commit for 6 months or more, and really want to help cats. This is not a ""petting" opportunity, nor can we certify community service hours.

The mission of Palo Alto Humane Society (PAHS) is to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society through innovative programs in intervention, education and advocacy. With the goal of creating a more humane planet, PAHS empowers people to make humane choices and take action on behalf of the animals.
Palo Alto Humane Society(PAHS) is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter.
We educate, advocate, and intervene whenever humane expertise is needed throughout the mid-Peninsula community.
Our Gift Shop is a great place to browse and shop - all proceeds directly support our programs assisting cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, birds, etc.
We'll work with your schedule.
