- Reception volunteers welcome guests & offer hospitality, answer phones, & monitor visitor center front desk.
- Museum Shop volunteers assist with retail sales, process admissions & payments, & assist with re-stocking & inventory.
Reception & Museum Shop volunteers are asked to work a minimum of two shifts per month during regular museum hours (11--5 Tuesday- Sunday). Each shift is three hours.
All training is provided. Flexible schedules!

The reception area & museum shop are located in our Visitor Center at 19 Madison Street, right next door to the National Historic Landmark at 17 Madison Street. All tours begin in the Visitor Center.
