Hello,
Help create a system for capturing data so that we can administer and use it ourselves using simple processes:
Our nonprofit is hosted by myhosting.com and can be found @ http://www.thecustodyproject.org.
One of our unfinished tasks involves - or ultimately may not involve - Magento.
Our Contribution Form allows people to submit data for our records.

at the Home Page, hover over About Us, and click on the Contribution Form. Currently "Submit For Our Records" it is not an active link.
We need the capability to capture all the data listed: names, physical and email addresses, phone numbers, contact information, etc, for data storage and then sort it in streams for physical mailings, bulk emails, printing envelopes and address labels, sending donation receipts, and more. However, the information is voluntary - we are not requiring but requesting - people to provide the information.
Myhosting [our hosting company] recommended we get Magento set up but some of our volunteers also think gmail ties in well with this process, especially with respect to emails. We hope somebody can pick up where our last volunteer left off, combining myhosting email and gmail resources. [See, http://www.magentocommerce.com/].
We do not know if Magento facilitates this and if it is easy for nontechnicals, such as myself, to administer, but we are hoping so, or for a different idea.
On our site are many independent ways people can donate [See Donate Tab], so we don't especially need an ecommerce capability as we are not a store but simply a nonprofit accepting donations.
If you are familiar with Magento - which is now linked to our site, or if you are familiar with another program that will work for us and can help get it connected and functioning, please contact us.
Remote and phone work are fine - so please include a contact phone number, said twice, on the phone recorder. I can cover phone expenses and / or we can Skype, too.

The Custody Project often gives when a mother can no longer provide the common necessities of life for her family, due to the cost of defending the custody or visitation of her children.
Recognizing that legal expenses can have disastrous effects upon a family, and a catastrophic and destabilizing financial domino can leave it reeling, The Custody Project assists qualified mothers and their children in financial crisis as related to care, custody, and visitation issues, in accordance with its mission.
