** Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Mask policy fluctuates based on recommendation from our Chief Medical Officer.
Volunteers greet donors, register them into the computer and oversee the refreshment area. Responsible for obtaining accurate donor ID criteria, inputting all donor information into the computer, and verifying accuracy of critical identifiers. Thank Donors after donation.
Must be at least 18. Commitment of 6 months or longer, please.
Orientation and Donor Registration Training at the Coralville Donor Center.

Description
The Blood Center is a volunteer-based organization that involves volunteer blood donors, a voluntary board of trustees, and community volunteers. Volunteers provide a much needed and valued service to our donors, patients and staff. We serve over 115 hospitals in 4 states and utilize volunteers from many areas to assist in our operations. Headquarters for the organization, as well as component processing, is located in Davenport, Iowa.
