Volunteers are needed to collect pet food and supplies for the Connecticut Humane Society. Pet food will be distributed through the pet food pantry which provides pet food to individuals struggling to feed their companion animals. General pet supplies are used for the homeless pets in our care. Individuals can arrange collections at their place of work, school, place of worship, neighborhood, a local business, etc. We can provide templates for flyers and signs. Donations can be dropped off at any of our Adoption centers in Newington, Westport, or Waterford during our regular business hours. For more details about collecting visit

Reduced cost veterinary services are available to people in financial need through our Fox Memorial Clinic. A pet food pantry is available for people in financial need who are struggling to feed their pets.
