Magento - or other format!

Hi,

Help needed to maintain and update http://www.thecustodyproject.org, to complete the email / data capture connections, layout issues, links, the colors in our Donate Button, etc.

Some data capture connections are in place and we need the links on our pages to automatically deposit information into the data capture program(s). I am unsure as to whether a wonderful prior volunteer set it up with Magento, Open Source, or a different method. We also need an up-to-date regular mailing program, and a few other data capture features /items, which I can show you visually by phone and in discussion.

We hope for a web developer who knows Magento, Open Source, or another program to complete the above tasks.

We use Dreamweaver CS4, and the current mailing program is Excel.

This is expected to require competent, steady, and reliable hands, and take more than 20 days. Remote work and phone appointments are fine, and I can call you so that phone costs are on my side.

Can somebody help us complete our system for capturing data so that we can administer and use it ourselves using simple processes:

Our small nonprofit is hosted by myhosting.com and can be found @ http://www.thecustodyproject.org.

Among our unfinished tasks, one of them involves - or ultimately may not involve - Magento.

Our Contribution Form allows people to submit data for our records. See h ttp://www.thecustodyproject.org, at the Home Page, hover over About Us, and click on Contribution
Form. Currently "Submit For Our Records" is not an active link.

We need the capability to capture all the data listed: names, physical and email addresses, phone numbers, contact information, etc, for data storage and then sort it in streams for physical mailings, bulk emails, printing envelopes and address labels, sending donation receipts, and more. However, the information is voluntary - we are not requiring but requesting - people to provide the information.

Myhosting [our hosting company] recommended we get Magento set up but few of our volunteers knew anything about Magento. Some work has been started and needs to be completed. [See, http://www.magentocommerce.com/]

On our site are many independent ways people can donate [See Donate Tab], so we don't especially need an ecommerce capability as we are not a store but a nonprofit accepting donations.

If you are familiar with Magento - which is now linked to our site, or if you can review what our prior volunteer set up, research what will work for us, and can help get it connected and functioning, please contact us.
