Smart Farm of Barrington is growing and we want to document our progress. We are looking for creative photographers that can capture our workdays, events and other farm progress.
Our Farm cleanup will begin Saturdays in April from 10am-1pm and our regular workdays start May 2nd (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 9am-noon)and continue thru October. You will need to bring your own equipment and be willing and able to share pictures on social media.
Lots of flexibility. Time commitment: 1-2 hours a week.

The Smart Farm will cultivate a healthy, eco-friendly community by: 1. Offering adults and children learning opportunities in sustainable farming; 2. Promoting the benefits of sustainable farming; and, 3. Donating fresh produce to support our neighbors in need.
Description
LEARN: Smart Farm is a permaculture farm for the Barrington area and nearby communities. Adults, children, and students learn about their agricultural heritage, organic regenerative farming, the slow food movement, and best practices for living "green," sustainable lives.
GROW : Volunteer to help us grow our vegetables, using the latest techniques in integrated pest management, water and soil conservation, and composting.
SHARE: A portion of our produce is shared with local food pantries and other hunger relief agencies.
