Take an active role in bringing about meaningful, enduring change right in your own neighborhood! Are you comfortable working with young children? Interested in energizing and entertaining kids in a positive environment? Become a Northfield YMCA CHILD WATCH volunteer!
- Assist our drop-in child care staff.
- Work with children primarily under the age of 6.
- Supervise, play and initiate games and activities.
- Maintain a safe play environment.
- Communicate courteously with members.
Child Watch hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am- 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Sunday 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
All Northfield Area Family YMCA volunteers working in programs or services must complete a criminal background check.
