Helping Horse Therapeutic Riding Program located in north raleigh is looking for volunteers to assist during our group and private lessons. Helping Horse provides therapeutic horseback riding to those with special needs and provide the opportunity for all of our riders to reach their potential while experiencing joy and making connections with our volunteers and horses. If you would like to come out and side walk beside our riders during classes or if you have horse experience and would like to lead our horses during lessons, we would love to have you ! This is a great way to serve the special needs community while being outdoors and getting some exercise all at the same time. Volunteers must be able to walk for up to one hour per class (this is intermittent walking with stops throughout). Horse experience is not necessary, we will train you. Our classes and lessons run at all different times throughout the week to work in your schedule. If you are interested please visit our website at www.helpinghorse.org or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
