Lutheran Hospice

Hospice Volunteers have the unique privilege of walking alongside another person during one of the most profound and poignant experiences of life. Often a patient or family member simply needs the safe and compassionate presence of a caring person - you. Our volunteers work in our Inpatient Unit, visit with patients and families in their homes, assist with administrative projects and promote a welcoming presence to family and friends as they enter the Collier Hospice Center. We have opportunities to fit various interests, whether that is "behind the scenes" or with direct patient and family care. And, our team of volunteers and Volunteer Coordinator provide plenty of training, support and encouragement. We'd love to have you join us in our mission to help patients live fully as they face end of life. We strictly follow CDC guidelines by providing face masks, goggles, and sanitized space for our volunteers.
