Every year a child waits for a tutor equals to one more year they fall behind in school. Help provide a child with the same opportunities you had to succeed in school and life.

Our Study Companions Program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15-5:45 PM and 6:00-7:30 PM. We train all volunteers, so they will be comfortable and ready to help their student with homework, reading and math.
Casa de Amistad is a truly special place where everyone is working toward the same goal...improving lives through education and friendship!

Casa de Amistad is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing the educational and leadership development of underserved children in coastal North County San Diego.
Description
Casa de Amistad is a tutoring and mentoring program in Solana Beach, California. Volunteers work with students in grades K-12. Most of the students who attend Casa de Amistad come from homes with a low socioeconomic status and where English is not the primary language. Our goal is to provide a safe environment for students to get help with their homework, read and have a positive mentor in their life.
