Join Green Kirkland Partnership to help restore the forest at Cotton Hill Park. We've put almost all 2.6 acres into restoration and we need your help to finish! Activities include removing invasive weeds, mulching with wood chips and planting native plants (season dependent). This is a beautiful park in the Highlands neighborhood of Kirkland just off the Cross Kirkland Corridor.
The Wednesday volunteer Steward team is there most Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in 2019. Contact greenkirkland@kirklandwa.gov to RSVP and ensure they are meeting and get the most up-to-date info.
All gloves, tools and training provided. No experience necessary and you can join us once or on an ongoing basis!
Youth under 14 must be joined by an adult. Youth under 18 but over 14 may join with a signed Youth Waiver. Contact us for all the details.

Mission Statement
Our Mission is to restore and maintain healthy forested and natural parklands by building a supportive community that works together to protect Kirkland’s valuable natural resources for current and future generations. Achieving this involves training and supporting volunteers in restoration activities.
Description
The Green Kirkland Partnership is an alliance between the City of Kirkland, nonprofit partners, businesses and the community to restore almost 500 acres of natural parkland in the City. The majority of the restoration efforts are accomplished by our dedicated volunteers. These volunteers may join us just one time or volunteer again and again. It takes everyone to restore our natural areas!
