After a long day at the hospital, our families find there is nothing better than walking into Ronald McDonald House to find a home-cooked meal. Our Meals Program invites groups of volunteers to plan a menu, purchase the ingredients, and prepare a meal at our House! If purchasing the ingredients for a meal for our families isn't in your budget - we may have necessary ingredients in our pantry for you to use.
Sign up today with your friends, family, coworkers or social club and provide a warm meal for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House. If you cannot prepare a full meal but would like to make snacks or desserts for the families you are welcome to do this instead.

Mission Statement
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC, a non-profit, 501 (C) (3), eases the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children.
Description
We help families struggling with problems like how to stay near and support a hospitalized child, how to afford staying together in another city while a child is undergoing treatment, or even how to get basic medical care in a vulnerable community. We provide solutions for these and other issues related to easing the hardship of children’s illness on families through three core programs that focus on the critical needs of children, celebrating the diversity of the donors who make them possible, staying true to our heritage of responsible stewardship, and operating with accountability and transparency.
Our programs offer help and hope where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHCDC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives in many ways. By volunteering, you can help make that happen.
