December 10th, Monday 2012, was our International Human Rights Day. We work for creating a culture of respect for the Human Rights of All. Whatever be our beliefs, religion, political views, gender or race by agreeing on the concept of respect for the rights of others, we generate a code of acceptable conduct across society. This culture of unity is essential to gain a peaceful, creative and enjoyable future. Participatory Human Rights Advancement Society (PHRAS) has conducted a Peace Walk in Dhaka, Bangladesh. On the occasion of the 64th Anniversary of United Nations Human Rights Day to raise awareness of Human Rights. Working together, each individual playing their part we can bring major change to our communities. We wish to make the coming year the year of improvement in Human Rights.
Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) commemorates United Nations Human Rights Day, December 10, with its fourth annual “International Walk for Human Rights.” In solidarity with Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI), Participatory Human Rights Advancement Society (PHRAS) has organized “International Walk for Human Rights” a peaceful walk and mass gathering for raising awareness on the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights. Students, volunteers, citizens and likeminded organizations participating in this peaceful walk to raise awareness of Human Rights Education.
Participatory Human Rights Advancement Society has volunteer programme for activists who are interested in doing field & desk work as "English Language Educator" under "Students Empowring Program" in different selected community schools. The organization provides a safe working environment for the volunteers.
