Meet and Greet at SBMM

Want to help out but not able to commit to an ongoing schedule? The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum (SBMM) is seeking on-call volunteers to occasionally fill-in at our Welcome Kiosk and Outdoor Santa Barbara Visitor Center (OSBVC)!

In the event that our regular volunteers are unavailable, on-call volunteers will be scheduled (with advance notice) to fill-in for specific shifts. Training for on-call volunteers will occur before any volunteer shifts are scheduled.

Kiosk and OSBVC volunteers have a unique opportunity to interact with the public on a regular basis: greeting visitors and answering questions about the Museum, the Santa Barbara Waterfront, and the Channel Islands National Park.

Kiosk shifts are from 10AM-1:30PM and 1:30PM-5PM, every day except Wednesday.

OSBVC shifts are from 11AM -- 2PM and 2PM -- 5PM, daily.

Fun, easy job--no handling money, just greet visitors and enjoy the harbor view!

Please contact Jennifer Haake at 805-962-8404 ext. 110 or guestservices@sbmm.org
