About

CASA of Ventura County believes that every court-dependent abused or neglected child should be safe, have permanence and the opportunity to thrive, and have a strong, compassionate Volunteer Advocate. The Court Appointed Special Advocate reports to an assigned CASA Supervisor, and is given support from the supervisor and program while assigned to a child. The Volunteer Advocate is matched with a particular foster child for the purpose of mentoring and representing the child's best interests in court.
