We need a hand!
Won't you lend your hand as a volunteer?

If you like to be 'on the road again' this volunteer opportunity is for you.

The Stilligaumish Senior Center needs a volunteer to drive the Center passenger van (max 14) on road trips, to events, meals and so on.

You do not need; a special license for this and the Centers' insurance covers you as the driver.

You do need; a good driving record, knowledge of the local area and a desire to help others.

Trips are made to Darrington, Everett, Mount Vernon and occasionally to Seattle and/or Bellingham.

Most trips require about a 6 hour commitment from start to finish. Without a van driver many of the seniors won't get a chance to get out and have fun, something everyone needs to do once in a while.

This opportunity is posted by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, helping persons over 55 find meaningful volunteer opportunities in their community.
