Assist kids ages 4 - 12 years old, diagnosed with autism, as they participate in play therapy, focus therapy and recreation. You will help the kids in developing focus, sharing and playing with their peers as directed by program leaders and therapists. Program takes place on alternate Saturdays 10:30am - 2:30pm at our Garden City site (1501 Franklin Ave).
Interview and orientation takes place at Life's WORC in Garden City.

Description
Life's WORC is a human service agency advocating for the rights and well being of individuals with developmental disabilities, mental retardation and autism.
Through person centered planning, the organization provides residential services, family supports and 13 non-residential community based programs throughout Queens, Nassau and Suffok Counties.
Programs and services include homes in local communities, Day Habilitation, Weekend Respite Recreation, After School Creative Arts and Music Therapy, Case Management, In-Home Residential Habilitation just to name some of our programs.
