Description: The Latino Student Fund (LSF) seeks a programs assistant to work from 12-6pm 3 days a week or flex time (excluding major holiday weekends) at their Tutoring Program (Virtual). The programs assistant will assist LSF Educational Programs Manager/Coordinators with the program organization and management of tutors, students, and parents (around 130-150 people). This opportunity is perfect for college students interested in learning more about education, non-profits, and program management. There is additional opportunity to work in the office during the work week to assist with various tasks to make this an 6-10 hour/week commitment. - Spanish skills are a plus*
Desired Skills: strong written communication skills, Collecting data, measuring outcomes, strong social media background, project management, self-starter, takes initiative, organized, ability to give and take direction effectively, team player, works well under pressure.
Preferable commitment through December 1, 2021-May 2022.
