Chapel Stained Glass

The Departments of Pastoral Care and Life Enrichment Activities are looking for committed person(s) to assist the directors with basic office tasks, data entry and reporting, answering phones and assisting families and volunteers around the chapel and daily activities. Part of responsibility is to prepare weekly chapel bulletin, prepare the monthly chapel schedule, coordinating with various volunteer churches as needed, and providing that schedule to all the volunteers, as well as coordinating with the Activities staff for scheduling. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is needed. Other responsibilities include maintaining census of current residents/patients, and preparing form letters for new residents/patients introducing the Pastoral Care department to them, as well as updating PowerPoint presentations with current birthday and anniversary information.

Description

Clinically sophisticated, yet intimate and comfortable, Riverside Regional Convalescent Center was one of the first centers in the area to provide Medicare skilled services. The 60-bed medicare skilled unit provides RN coverage 24 hours a day, a full time Nurse Practitioner and a team of dedicated physicians, nurses, aides, social workers, and dietitians. In addition, a full time chaplain oversees the Pastoral Care program and directs interdenominational services in the welcoming Chapel.

The subacute unit specializes in wound management, intravenous therapy, rehabilitation, and complex medical care. In addition, a specialized memory impaired unit for individuals with minimal to moderate dementia provides a structured program in a calm, comfortable, and safe environment.

Twenty-four hour nursing care is also provided. Accommodations throughout the Center include tastefully furnished private and semi-private rooms, courtyards, lounges, dining areas, and a beauty shop. Monthly support groups are provided to enhance family education and involvement.
