Interpreters Volunteer
Museum exhibit interpreters assist visitors by sharing their love of learning, knowledge for the content, and curiosity about the world around them.

Interpret information about the Mississippi River in Minnesota, water ecology, how humans have utilized the river over time and explore topics like wildlife biology, boats on the Mississippi, Ice Age mammals in Minnesota, Contemporary Minnesota mammals, and more. The first gallery a visitor typically encounters, this is a busy section of the museum that has a phenomenal view of the very thing volunteers talk about...the river!
