The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know about the most effective ways to contribute.
Horses Help is seeking enthusiastic volunteer groups and social individuals to help raise needed funds to support our equine facilitated programs. Each year we put together a group of volunteers called the Cardinals Crew. These volunteers work at Cardinals Stadium for all Home Games serving fans much needed hot dogs, popcorn and beverages. It is truly a blast!
You must complete paperwork and basic training for Cardinals Stadium Gamedays and have a food handlers card, as well as agree to a background check and have a state issued ID. We will work with you on training dates. The Charity earns program dollars to support our scholarship for our special needs community through this effort!
Contact Gregg Goodman to sign up for a training date or if you have any questions.
We are looking for over 80 volunteers so that you can just work one or two games per season, or all of them! It is up to you!
