Help Utah Health and Human Rights individuals overcome the biggest barrier in resettling to the United States: English. One of the most difficult and frustrating obstacles for UHHR individuals (refugees/new immigrants) is being unable to communicate with others due to undeveloped English skills. Make a new friend and help them master the English language through informal and casual meetings. English is the single most important key for successful adjustment to life in the United States. Approximately 6-8 hours a month commitment for 3 month minimum.
