ORGANIZATION: Compeer Rochester, Inc.

CompeerCORPS is a peer program that connects Veterans with the purpose of providing a network of support. Our Vets Driving Vets program assists Veterans in Monroe County by providing transportation to medical appointments, shopping, errands, etc. If you are a Veteran, and would like to volunteer your time and become a driver in our Vets Driving Vets program please contact us for more information. Even one ride a month helps tremendously!

More about the Compeer Program:

Compeer uses community volunteers to provide guidance and support to individuals who are looking to improve their well-being as a supplement to mental health treatment. For over 40 years, we have helped people in our community who are isolated and lacking socialization, all through the power of 1:1 mentoring relationships.
