Wildlife Rescue League is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Northern Virginia whose mission is to support the rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife and, through education, to foster the appreciation of our wild neighbors.

If you are interested in working with sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, this position is for you! Wildlife rehabilitators work in their own homes taking care of wildlife with the goal of releasing them back into their native habitats. A 2-year initial apprenticeship and Virginia state permit is required, as well as 6 hours of continuing education a year. Training is provided.
