It's easy, just call and ask how they are doing!

Simple and easy to remember, our Wednesday Volunteers provide an invaluable service to our patients and their clinical team.

Every Wednesday, you arrive at our office at 10 a.m. and make calls to our patients to see how they are feeling and if they need anything from our staff; such as medical supplies, or a visit. It is a rewarding position, as the caregivers and patients get to know you over time and come to enjoy and anticipate your call.

Heartland Hospice is Northeast Florida's alternative to meet the growing need for end-of-life care . Our program takes the comprehensive approach to providing quality care for those seeking hospice services including expert medical personnel, spiritual care and bereavement services.

Our volunteers are the cornerstone of our care. Their loving and generous contribution of time and compassion is what makes the difference in our patients' lives.
