Partner with the Luther Manor Symbria Therapy team to provide wheelchair/escort transportation for residents residing in the Health Care Center and the Transitional Care Rehabilitation guests to/from their scheduled on-site occupational, physical, speech therapy sessions.
Volunteers will enjoy meeting and interacting with the residents/rehabilitation guests. Volunteers will find it rewarding to know that their assistance helps individuals reach their highest level of functioning and hopefully to reach their personal goals for independence. This is a valuable volunteer service opportunity for students considering health care careers. The Health Service Therapy transporter volunteer positions also offers opportunity for indoor walking exercise while at the same time assisting Luther Manor residents and rehabilitation guests.

- Completed Volunteer Service application, Background Information Disclosure, Documentation of being fully vaccinated for COVID 19 and the Seasonal Influenza Vaccine. Volunteer orientation and training provided.
