Help defend the potential of Butler County youth, and help to conquer the isolation youth are feeling as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Become a Big Brother or Big Sister!
Community-Based Mentors ("Bigs") meet with youth ("Littles") 2 to 4 times a month, for a couple of hours at a time. These meetings are on days and at locations that are mutually convenient for the Big, the Little, and the Little's parent/guardian. When they meet, Bigs and Littles engage in free or low-cost activities in the community that are enjoyable to both, and that enable a supportive mentoring relationship to grow and thrive. During the pandemic, these meetings can take place virtually.
No special skills are required to be a mentor. You just need to be honest, trustworthy, and care about youth. While we welcome all applicants, we have a particularly need for male mentors.
