Front of House Volunteers for "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas"

Do you like engaging with people in a friendly, one-on-one way? Do you have the patience and calm to handle crowds and redirect lines? If so, our Front of House volunteer positions are for you! Our ushers, concession volunteers, ticket takers, box office and front of house assistants are the first experience our patrons have with the theatre and the performance. Help to get the theatre ready before patrons arrive and greet them as they come through the door.

Several positions are available per performance, evening weekends and Saturday and Sunday matinees. For matinees, Volunteers arrive at 1pm , the show begins at 2 pm, and volunteers are welcome to see the show and resume front of house duties during intermission and after the performance. We also have volunteer shifts available for Thursday-Saturday evening performances (arrival at 6:30pm, show at 7:30pm to 10:00pm).

Seattle Musical Theatre is a great place to meet like-minded individuals. No prior training is required (though we are looking for volunteers with MAST licenses to serve at our wine bar), and you get to see the show for free! Your time is valued and appreciated--we couldn't deliver quality theatre experiences without you.
