PORTLAND/ VANCOUVER Licensed beauty professionals provide group consultations to women undergoing cancer treatment. Give lessons and individual attention on skin and nail care, wigs and head coverings, and make up application. ACS provides supplies and training. Flexible schedule (ie. 1x month, 2x year).

ACS provides patient services, education, and advocacy on cancer-related issues. In addition, the Society raises funds for cancer-related research. Fundraising events include Relay For Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and the Portland Hope Ball. The American Cancer Society is the largest private, nonprofit source of cancer research funding in the world, and has invested millions in cancer research in Oregon. We are leading the way in prevention and early detection as well as in cancer treatment.
