Mission Statement
Ten Thousand Villages provides vital, fair income to Third World people by marketing their handicrafts and telling their stories in North America. Ten Thousand Villages works with artisans who would otherwise be unemployed or underemployed. This income helps pay for food, education, health care and housing.
Description
Ten Thousand Villages is a retail store located in Jefferson Village Shopping Center off New Garden Road. We are open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sundays 1 - 5 p.m., with extended hours during the holidays. We strive for a wonderful experience for all of our customers, a fulfilling experience for all of our volunteers, and life-changing opportunies for the artisans whose handicrafts we sell.
