Maryland CASA is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring all victims of child abuse and neglect in MD their right to safe, permanent homes. This is accomplished through the development and support of Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) programs throughout the state that recruit and train volunteers to serve as advocates for children.
We are currently seeking dynamic individuals who are passionate about children's rights to serve on our Board of Directors. Board members are responsible for taking on leadership roles in specific areas of the organization's strategic plan, including fundraising, communications and public awareness, legislative awareness, and program development. We have a particular need for individuals with fundraising, PR/marketing/communications and government relations and experience. Previous board experience a plus.
