The days are getting shorter. Enjoy your volunteer time outside while you can!
Like all homeowners, seniors take great pride in their home and yard but they may need assistance from time to time.
This Fall, brighten the day of our neighborhood seniors by helping rake leaves for them. Many of our seniors have been in their home for 50+ years and want to continue doing so safely and joyfully.
The 3-4 hours you can give means so much to them. Plus, you can enjoy time outside on a beautiful Minnesota autumn day.
Days and time are flexible. Many hands make light work-sign up with 2-5 friends, co-workers or organizational members. This is a perfect team opportunity for community service. All equipment is provided and our staff will be there to support your efforts.
If your company wants to donate any of the supplies, we always need yard bags, rakes, garden gloves, and face masks for those with allergies.

Description
Our main goal is to keep our community seniors living in their homes. We organize and lead exercise programs, caregiver relief services, in-home nursing visits, volunteer drivers and friendly visitors are among the services we provide. We work in the Como Park and Falcon Heights community.
