Volunteer Adult Literacy Tutor

- Give the gift of literacy to an adult learner
- Tutor an adult learner one-on-one in reading, writing, spelling or math
- Extensive assortment of educational materials available for tutoring session, free of charge
- On-going information and consultation as needed
- Volunteer shift varies based on learner between 30 - 60 minutes in timeframes to follow:
- Volunteer shift: M-W 10:00am - 4:30pm
- Volunteer shift: Thurs 12:00pm - 6:30pm
- Volunteer shift: Fri 1:00pm - 3:30pm
- Volunteer shift: Sat 10:00am - 12:30pm
- Submit monthly reports on hours tutored, progress and challenges
- Maintain contact with Literacy Services Center regarding student needs, concerns, questions, etc.
