OASIS (Outreach Assisting Students in Schools) provides clothing and fundamental necessities to students in Hillsborough County schools. Our volunteers meet to sort clothing & shoe donations, organize & restock shelves, and work in the warehouse every Wednesday from 9:00AM - 12:00PM (year round) or 2:30-4:30pm (during school year only) in Tampa Palms. Volunteers are welcome for 1 hour, 3 hours or whatever fits their schedule. Sorting and organizing the donated clothing & shoes for our shelves and racks makes items easily accessible for students in need in the Hillsborough County schools. After you are trained, you will also have the opportunity to work on other days between 9am-3pm.
OASIS volunteers have fun, meet new people, and are valued members of our community. Our organization is run primarily by volunteers, so our volunteers are KEY to its' success. Service hours are available for all middle, high school, & college students who participate. Contact us today for more details!

To provide clothing and fundamental necessities to low-income students in Hillsborough County Public Schools to ensure their personal and academic success.

- OASIS provides essentials to at-risk and low-income students in need through their school social workers
- Items provided include: gently used clothing, new uniforms, socks & underwear, shoes, hygiene items, alarm clocks, emergency food assistance, and school supplies
- 3 full-size clothing sites serving homeless and low-income students
The acronym OASIS stands for Outreach Assisting Students In Schools. This non-profit organization was specifically developed as a unique and effective way of directly distributing donations of children's personal items to public school kids in need of assistance. Direct communication and cooperation with school based social workers and other school representatives make this effort possible.
The OASIS Opportunities brings these entities together to form a unique partnership, one that allow students to overcome barriers to consistent school attendance and academic success. We believe that all students deserve equal access to the tool they need to fully engage in their education and realize their potential to become exceptional members of our community.
