Hawthorne Hill Nature Center Greeters :

Do you enjoy nature? Are you outgoing? Love to talk to others and meet new people? Have a knack for making people smile? Are you willing to learn about the upcoming nature center events and share that with others?

Volunteers:

Greet guests, answer phone calls, take messages, set out arts and crafts supplies, assist with activity research and development, straighten up the center at the end of the day, assist with light cleaning (as needed), enter data, and more. This is a great position for someone who likes to help others and doesn’t mind being inside.

Required:

All volunteers must attend a volunteer orientation, receive training, complete a waiver form and pass a background check. Any volunteers under the age of 18 must have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian.

Requested:

Bilingual volunteers needed but not required - friendly, smiling faces are required

Commitment:

Minimum of a 3 hour shift once a month

Greeter Hours Available

Friday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 - 4:00 p.m

Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 - 4:00 p.m
