The Joint Center (for hip and knee replacement) is accepting volunteers to work on this team. Volunteers assist with patient interaction, group physical therapy, group meals and graduation/reunion events. In addition, volunteers will offer support to those without family members available.
Volunteers who have experienced a total hip or knee replacement are preferred. Candidates must be in good physical condition in order to assist with the set-up processes.
Volunteers agree to serve a minimum of 4-hours once weekly, more if desired. This is quite an exciting new opportunity.
