PA Medi volunteers counsel Medicare beneficiaries and/or their families, to provide non-biased information about Medicare, Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Managed Care Plans, Medicaid, Medicare D Prescription Drug Coverage and other benefits available to consumers.
PA Medi volunteers present informational sessions to outreach groups and counsel seniors one-on-one about their options. During Open Enrollment season, volunteers assist consumers with Medicare D prescription plan cost comparisons and completing applications for benefits programs.
