Goodwill industries of Central Iowa is looking for a family, group, business, church or individual that is willing to take on the task of planning a get together for 75-90 individuals with special needs. This group meets every other Thursday evening from around 6-8pm.
This person or group would be responsible the program each meeting. The last meeting of each month there is also food that is provided. This is paid for through Goodwill but would be the responsibility of the organizer to plan it.
The organizer is also responsible for providing rides to the event for those that need one. Goodwill will provide the vans but you will need 2 or 3 drivers to do the rest.
We are alos looking for a good place to hold these events as we have outgrown our current location.
