Smart Farm of Barrington

Get your hands dirty. learn more about permaculture while helping others! A majority of our harvest is donated to local food pantries and other hunger relief organizations.

We need lots of helping hands to prepare for our farm for our Spring crops and our fruit tree plantings. Maybe you don't have time to help on an ongoing basis but would like to help on a project basis...WE NEED YOUR HELP(Groups Welcome)! Volunteers will be removing plant material, spreading compost, spreading cover crops and cleaning/organizing our workspace.

These cleanup days will occur each Saturday in April(weather permitting). If you are interested in volunteering on a more regular basis... we start in May. Please take a look at the separate Smart Farm volunteer match post. Thank you!

***GPS is incorrect. We are located just west of the hospital and east of Kelsey Rd on the north side of Rte 22.
