Partners with staff to support the administrative, event and program functions at the Chico American Cancer Society Office. Serves as office receptionist. Answers phones while providing quality customer service to our internal and external customers who call or walk into our office. Promotes the programs and services of the American Cancer Society. Assists patients with information and services. Assist with event mailings. Assists with restocking and maintenance of storage areas.

Description
For over 40 years, the American Cancer Society has owned and operated a chain of specialty resale stores, created to help support the fight against cancer. The American Cancer Society Discovery Shops accomplish this through the sale of high quality, gently used, donated merchandise. These special items which are displayed in beautiful, intimate settings, include clothing, collectibles, jewelry, artwork, furniture and other household finery. The shops are staffed primarily by dedicated volunteers, many of whom have been personally touched by cancer.
