ORGANIZATION: DANA Adobe Nipomo Amigos

Dana Adobe

We are looking for people interested in becoming a docent. Docents are knowledgeable guides, especially one who conducts visitors through a museum and delivers commentary on the exhibitions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Knowing the history of the Dana Family Rancho
  • Give weekend tours of the Adobe and Cultural Center from 11-3 Saturdays & Sundays

All Volunteers will receive training for the position.

The Mission of Dana Adobe Nipomo Amigos (DANA) is to restore and preserve the historic Dana Adobe and promote development of the Rancho Nipomo Dana Adobe Living Historic Park as a means of enhancing knowledge and understanding of California's Rancho era and encourage an appreciation of the many peoples and cultures who contributed to the influence of the era on the development of California.
